A vignette is defined  as "any small, pleasing picture or view". When used in interior design, it can refer to a beautiful grouping of decorative objects, books & vases arranged on any surface around the home, usually on your sideboard or console table. Ethos Design lists down the many creative ways of  doing  vignettes.
