Restaurants have been one of the hardest hit in this more-than-a-year-old global pandemic. While most have closed shop, the few who have managed to survive, decided to take the high road, look after the people who are the most impacted by this and turn things around for them.

Tenya, Japan’s number one tempura tendon chain, is one of the few who stepped up. This farm-to-table initiative has provided their local food producer-partners a steady stream of income, getting rid of the middlemen and ensuring high quality food staples are on the diners’  plates.

With the brand’s Japanese craftmanship  and Filipino produce, Tenya has come up with these affordable dishes found on the TENYA LOKAL menu.

Their prices start at Php 145 for their ramens, Php 165 for their donburi bowls and bento box ranging from Php 195-Php 245.


During the e-launch, sample dishes were sent out, 


like the chicken karaage don,


the ebi ten don,


and the sukiyaki bento.
