[in relax & beauty modes]

In my "slumbook" interview which was featured in my bestfriend's blog last May 15, I mentioned that spa & salon visits are my indulgences. It's true. Sometimes, the daily chores & concerns can take its toll on full-time moms like me.  That's why, my once or twice a month "me-times" are really welcome treats.

Although I have been to stylish salons & spas around the metro, I think it would be nice to get pampered in one of these :

SALONS
Le Cinq in Osaka, Japan
Regalo in Omiya, Japan
Kashiwa in Chiba, Japan
Boa Hair in Zurich, Switzerland
Garden by BE Area in Saitama, Japan
Primula in Naruo, Japan

SPAS
Super Sense Spa in Shanghai, China

MIZU Spa in San Francisco, USA
Moku Moku Yu Baths in Japan's Southern Alps

[the mundane turned awesome]

Artists, photographers & those who are OC about neatness & organization would definitely get hooked on this website.

THINGS ORGANIZED NEATLY is curated by Indiana designer AUSTIN RADCLIFFE. He assembles ordinary items, arranges them in such put-together fashion that in the end they come out as nice artworks. Each entry is a feast for the eyes.

[COLOR PEG series: VIOLET/PURPLE]

VIOLETThe color violet relates to the fantasy world, and a need to escape from the practicalities of life. It is the daydreamer escaping from reality. It inspires unconditional and selfless love, devoid of ego, encouraging sensitivity and compassion. It encourages creative pursuits and seeks inspiration and originality through its creative endeavors. It likes to be unique, individual and independent, not one of the crowd. It is the color of the humanitarian, using its better judgment to do good for others. Combining wisdom and power with sensitivity and humility, violet can achieve a lot for those less fortunate. - Color Psychology

PURPLE : The most royal color that is associated with wealth, prosperity, rich sophistication. This color stimulates the brain activity used in problem solving. However, when overused in a common setting it is associated with putting on airs and being artificial. Use purple most carefully to lend an air of mystery, wisdom, and respect. - Color Psychology

Add just a hint or large doses of purple or violet in these spaces.

[COLOR PEG series: GREEN]

GREEN - The color of growth, nature, and money. A calming color also that's very pleasing to the senses. Dark forest green is associated with terms like conservative, masculine and wealth. Hospitals use light green rooms because they too are found to be calming to patients. It is also the color associated with envy, good luck, generosity and fertility. It is the traditional color of peace, harmony, comfortable nurturing, support and well paced energy. - Color Psychology
