Not even an injured toe nor the bipolar weather could stop me from attending my bestfriend's blogversary party at the Sky Lounge at Acacia Estates, Taguig. I just had to be there, come hell or high water. ;)
I arrived at half past 3 in the afternoon. Fleur, sexy in her hot pink blouse & lace shorts, met me with her usual tight hug & 'beso' as I came in. Most of her guests were already there - immediate family members, close friends, a selected number of her blog readers, & mommy bloggers who I am also friends with: Maggie, Maqui & Sha. Em, Aimee & Dew followed suit, while Ging turned up much later after coming from a blog workshop. There were also two bloggers I got to exchange pleasantries with -Louise & Krisna.
The party, held in a function room at the penthouse level, was all prepped-up in splashes of red, the favorite color of the hostess.
From the paper lanterns
to the color-coordinated paper plates, cups, utensils & napkins.
Her blog table was prominently displayed in one corner of the seating area.
It had bits & pieces of her life - framed photos of her Alvin & Anika plus, of course the highlight of her blogging career, the Smart Parenting 'Mommy Blogger' award.
And who can miss the cute anniversary cake?
As for the food, there was more than enough for everyone.

The buffet spread was all laid out for us to get a share of - cakes, dumplings, chicken lollipops, spaghetti & meatballs, fruit platters, skewers of hotdogs & mallows, french bread pieces & creamy dips.
After we had our fill of the delectables, Fleur started her mini-program & raffle.
There were loads of gifts to give away. Everyone there got to take home goodies.
And of course, I just had to have my share of post-party photos,
with the blogging mommas
& the lady-of-the-hour.
Congratulations on your 4th year, Fleur! I am so proud of how far you've come. Here's wishing you more years of blogging bliss.
