[20 years MARRIED & counting]

Hubby & I recently celebrated 2 decades of marriage. We spent the day with our girls in one of our favorite getaway spots, Tagaytay City.

It was actually a day-long food trip which began at breakfast in Burby's, Libis.

Hubby & I would always go for this yummy crispy 'itik' meal. You should try this. ;)

The girls, of course, had American breakfast.

And we ended our meal with another one - the bacon & french toast topped with blueberry sauce, compliments of the owner. ;)

From there, we made a quick stop at Sky Ranch

where the Sky Eye is,

before doing lunch in idyllic Sonya's Garden.

And, the food, starting with their newly-baked whole wheat sesame bread from the Panaderia,

served with freshly-made dips & toppings.

The garden salad came next. A delicious combo of greens & fruit/veggie pieces drizzled with the dressing of your choice.

And here is what was on my plate - a tomato-based pasta dish topped with ratatouille, salmon belly, shiitake mushrooms, capers & olives.

To end a filling meal, we had these glazed sweet potato wedges,  banana rolls with sesame & jackfruit

& a slice of decadent chocolate cake, which we took with a cup of tarragon tea

& a glass of freshly-squeezed 'dalandan' or green mandarin juice.

The Ramoses, happy tummies all! ;)

After lunch, we took a stroll outside, coming out of this nice screened wooden door,

& enjoyed looking at the foliage-lined walkway mixed in with capiz lamps

& sat in one of the benches, one in wrought iron

& the other, a carved-out trunk piece.

En route to Manila, we passed by the new Starbucks cafe along Tagaytay Road.

I soooo love this Starbucks store!

And yes, that day, I finally redeemed my planner, thanks to a couple of ladies who gladly gave me their earned stickers. ;)

Or so I thought it was mine, because hubby 'sequestered' the planner the minute he saw it. :(

The girls could only break out into giggles at what just happened. :D

Before finally leaving, the girls posed in front of this cool, hip coffee place. ;)
