(an EATING SPREE with three at PAN DE AMERIKANA & PINK CHIFFON]

Two Thursdays ago,  I was with my best mommy buddies, Joy, Auji & Didit. Our last gastronomic outing a couple of months back took us to RUSTIC MORNINGS & QIZIA. I always look forward to seeing these ladies because we get to catch up on each others' lives while trying out restaurants & cafes. Fully aware of my blogging venture, they help me look for places to review while we share stories. ;)

Our day started early with breakfast taken at Pan de Amerikana. I had tapsilog (beef strips, fried rice & sunny side-up) with a cup of brewed coffee. Deliciously affordable at Php 95.00.

Aside from the meals, the quirky interiors earn second looks from diners. I like how the owners upcycle materials & come up with different finishes or accents.

A day with them is not complete without going for our sweet endings. So after an hour or 2 in Pan de Amerikana, we hopped on over to Pink Chiffon, a cake & cupcake shop nearby.

The meals & desserts there are reasonably priced, not to mention, yummy! ;)

The interiors are in pastel hues & the furniture pieces, simple.

Here's what we had for 'merienda'. ;)

 hot cups of tea
@Php 30.00 each
lasagna verde al forno
@Php 140.00
spaghetti carbonara
@Php 140.00
cupcakes for 4:
carrot walnut, red velvet,
triple chocolate, cappuccino mousse
@Php 50.00 each
all smiles after getting
our sugar rush
I thank God for friendships, long-term ones at that. And I look forward to more eating sprees with these 3. ;)
