For the first time, my youngest daughter performed in her school's yearly December activity. Held in Teatro Aguinaldo, QC last 17 December 2011, the musical fashion show was participated in by all the students from Grade 1 to Fourth Year High. We watched some of them sashay down the runway in their fashion bests while the others who were not picked out as models danced to modern, upbeat music. But before the big day, they had a photoshoot. The magazine-worthy pictures were included in their souvenir program. Here's the official group photo of the freshmen:
I particularly loved two portions in the show: one, where a gown collection in black & white was featured, while the other was where some moms also performed as models. The presentations per level were worth watching too because they showcased the terpsichorean talents of the girls. Overall, it was a success especially since it also served a cause. The Student Council launched a clothes drive, proceeds of which benefited the less-fortunate in the nearby community. After seeing a well-conceptualized show like this, I am looking forward to another one next year.
