i usually set my holiday sprucing activity right after november 1 & 2. that means, it's 2 weeks away & by this time, i'm already prepping up our house, to make it spic-&-span & ready.
last year, our home was all-decked up like these
this year, i will make decorations for our dining room, main entry door, t&b's & girls' bedrooms.
to get ideas, i went to www.martha stewart.com:
table top decors
loose light strands inside vases
bobeches are candle drip catchers
door knob accents
past or newly-bought christmas cards on display
stair landing high window
a swag of garland with pine cone accents
main entry door
instead of a wreath, but our's would be an R
the decorating style is so western, but you can add local materials or tweak touches here & there to fit the style of your homes.
