Based on the announcement by the COUNCIL ON TALL BUILDINGS & URBAN HABITAT or CTBUH, the tallest building in the world on record for 2011-2012 is the iconic BURJ KHALIFA or BURJ DUBAI found in Dubai, UAE. It has a height of 828 m (2,717 ft) with 163 floors.
