[made-to-order furniture]

For those who frequent Tagaytay, you have probably noticed the line of furniture shops along the highway.

It's in one of these stores where we got our wood furniture for the house.

The table-&-bench set in our lanai,

the daybed,

& the media center in our family area,

plus the bookshelf-table sets in our girls' bedrooms.

We got them all at discounted prices. But, just a tip. Don't haggle too much. The  quality of the wood parts they put into each set gets affected. Ours, I found out, had imperfections. They probably used some rejected pieces of wood lying around their shop & included them in the assembly. Hubby even had the supplier return some items & rectify the defects. You get your money's worth, I guess. :(

But despite this, I still think it's good to scout around this area for your furniture needs. Just be on the look-out. =)
